I referred one of my friends but did not receive my reward

This can be the result of one of the following scenarios:

> the referral scheme has expired : please make sure to check the expiry date on the referral card. If you referred a friend before the end of the referral scheme but if they click on the link after the expiry date, then the referral will not be completed and you will not receive a reward.

> the referee did not complete the referral: depending on the referral scheme that is running, the person you refer may have to sign up on the app or make a first purchase. If you have not received a reward, this means that your friend did not complete the referral on their end, i.e. they did not make their first purchase or sign up on the app.

> the person you referred made their first purchase without clicking on the referral link: in this case, the referral will not be valid as the friend you referred did not install the app through referral scheme

> the person you referred did not make their purchase or used a voucher for their first transaction: depending on the referral scheme, the referee may need to make a first purchase in order to unlock the referral reward. Please note that  a voucher redemption does not count as a first purchase either. In this scenario, the referee will need to make a purchase to complete the referral.

> the person you referred was already referred by someone else: the same person cannot be referred twice, once the referral is completed, they cannot be referred again.

> the person you tried to refer has already used the Caffe Nero app > the referral scheme only applies to people who have never used the app - if they have, then they can no longer be referred to the app.
